Companies use the billing address to verify the authorised use of such a card. It is also where companies send paper bills and bank statements.

Your billing address can be different from the shipping address of your choice, but it has to be the same as your payment method otherwise, your purchase may encounter an error message at checkout. 

Though you may change our shipping address on every order, you may not be able to change your billing address as this is tied to the payment method. To enter a new billing address you will need to head over to Your Profile > Payment Methods and edit the payment method itself.
